We’ve Moved! Welcome to Inner Light Expressive Arts Therapy

Chelsea is now offering in-person services at 318 Homer Street, Unit 206 in Vancouver, BC

The main entrance is located on Homer Street where there are some stairs leading up to a buzzer system. Once buzzed into the lobby, turn left down the hallway, and find Unit 206 on the left side of the hall.

The second entrance is accessible by elevator, located off of West Cordova Street (NO stairs). If you need to use this entrance, please email Chelsea at innerlight.exat@gmail.com to make arrangements prior to your appointment.

PARKING: Street parking spots are available directly in front of the building and around the area. There is also a parking garage located across the street.

GETTING HERE: We are a 5 minute walk from Waterfront Station and many bus routes in the area.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Your appointment time is specially reserved for you. Please kindly cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice so the time can be offered to someone else. For missed appointments or late cancellations, the full session fee will be charged.

Chelsea Angeles (she/her) is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT #3240). She is also a Certified Expressive Arts Therapist offering a compassionate and playful space where clients are open to explore and lead with curiosity and imagination. Chelsea is dedicated to empowering her clients by fostering resilience through creativity by integrating therapeutic expressive arts approaches to promote emotional well-being, support self-development, and self-expression. Expressive Arts (visual art, creative writing, movement and dance, music and voice) has the power to hold, heal, and offer a space where we can show up as we are and land in the art.

Chelsea is trained using trauma informed, person-centered, anti-oppressive, and mindfulness based approaches. She believes meeting clients where they are is essential to establishing strong therapeutic relationships. Chelsea has experience working with themes of anxiety, depression, loss, life transitions, and self-esteem, and identity.

As an artist and formally trained dancer, Chelsea has a rich background in the performing arts, including experience in theatre, as well as writing and performing spoken word poetry. Currently, she fosters her own self-expression through her connection with movement and dance. Chelsea’s experiences with expressive arts has been a beautiful reminder of the importance of engaging with imagination and play in her everyday life.
